							  And
							after being baptized*,
							Jesus went
up immediately from the water; and behold,
the heavens were opened, and he saw the
							Spirit of
God descending as a dove, and coming upon
							Him, and behold,
							a voice out
of the heavens, saying, "This is My beloved Son,
in whom I am well-pleased." Matthew 3:16-17 (NAS)

							* baptized - from the Greek word "baptizo",
meaning to immerse or dip...to submerge. The
Father, Son and Holy Spirit are One God?
It may be hard to understand how the one God of
the Bible can show Himself in three different ways
at the same time (the Father, the Son and the Holy
Spirit). Let's look at an example that may help
							us understand this:
Water, Ice and Fog are all H2O?
Several thousand years ago, it might have been
hard for some to understand that Water, Ice and Fog
are all the same element...H2O (note:  H2O
is a chemical symbol representing 2 parts of
Hydrogen and 1 part of Oxygen).

							H20 appears in different forms...a
concept that many did not understand until
scientific discovery in the last several hundred
							years.
							 Further Study:

Although not a perfect example, we may never
understand fully how the Father, Son and Holy Spirit
are a part of One Deity or Godhead, but we can
affirm from the scriptures that there is only one
							God.  For further study see
