Correct.
Jesus
says in Matthew 18:5-7: "And whoever receives one
such child in My name receives Me;
but whoever
causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to
stumble, it is better for him that a heavy millstone
be hung around his neck, and that he be drowned in
the depth of the sea. "Woe to the world
because of its stumbling blocks! For it is
inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but
woe to that
man through whom the stumbling block comes!"
(NAS)
Are you living your life so as to not cause a
child to stumble?
- Do you show children by your actions that it
is okay to abuse the body with alcohol, drugs,
sexual sins, or other harmful things
(over-eating, tobacco, etc.)?
- Or to abuse others or be unkind to others?
- Or to disrespect the law or authority?
- Or to disrespect God and His word, the
Bible?
What happens when we sin?
"But
your iniquities have made a separation between you
and your God, and your sins have hidden His face
from you, so that He does not hear." Isaiah 59:2
(NAS)
How do we get reunited in the image of God; in
