The
glory of God the Father should not be exchanged for
the image in the form of corruptible or mortal
man...
"For
even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as
God, or give thanks; but they became futile in their
speculations, and their foolish heart
was darkened.
22Professing to be wise,
they became
fools, and exchanged the glory of the
incorruptible God for an image in the form of
corruptible man and of birds and four-footed
animals and crawling creatures. 24
Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their
hearts to impurity, that their bodies might be
dishonored among them. 25
For they
exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and
worshiped and served the creature rather than the
Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen." Romans
1:21-25 (NAS)
Jesus' Father is Not "Flesh and Blood"
And
Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you,
Simon Barjona, because
flesh and
blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who
is in heaven. Matthew 16:17 (Jesus
speaking to Simon Peter about what Jesus' Father had
revealed to Peter - NAS)
God is Immortal...Incorruptible
The "glory of the incorruptible (immortal) God"
is not to be confused with...or exchanged with an
image in the form of man or woman who is
"corruptible (mortal)."
"God
is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son
of man, that He should repent; has He said, and will
He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make
it good? Numbers 23:19 (NAS)
