Jesus instructs His Disciples on Prayer:
So far we have looked at directing our prayers to
God the Father...recognizing how His name is hallowed
and holy and how we should focus on His kingdom and
His will. In light of this, let's look at the
things that we should pray for.
Let's continue looking at Jesus' instructions in
Matthew chapter 6:
'Give us this day our daily bread.
12 'And forgive us our debts, as we also
have forgiven our debtors. 13 'And do not
lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the
glory, forever. Amen.' 14 "For if you
forgive men for their transgressions, your heavenly
Father will also forgive you. 15 "But if
you do
not forgive men, then your Father will not
forgive your transgressions. Matthew 6:11-15 (NAS)
Question:

our Father...we should not ask Him to do
what?

daily bread.

have forgiven our debtors.
- Lead us not into temptation.
- Deliver us from evil.
- Forgive us of all our debts, even when we do
not forgive others.
