As we will discover in the course of
this lesson, the Holy Spirit began to be poured out
on all mankind on the Day of Pentecost (see Acts
chapter 2), shortly after Jesus' death.
Section 1 of this lesson focuses on
who the Holy Spirit is...and the
blue portion of the
timeline above, which is time period
before
the pouring out of the Spirit. Since the Holy
Spirit existed with God and Jesus prior to the
creation of the heavens and earth, the timeline
shows an arrow pointing to the time before the
creation of the heavens and earth.
