Correct.

When these people received the Holy Spirit, it did not make them perfect.  They all faced temptation and sin.  Saul's sin was so great that eventually the Spirit of God departed from him.

"Now the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD terrorized him." 1 Samuel 16:14 (NAS)

Jesus was the only one who has not sinned.  But even Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit in the wilderness to be tempted.

Today, when a person receives the gift of the Holy Spirit, it is important that they continue to turn away from the sin and temptation that they face.
