The Holy Spirit:

Even though the Holy Spirit has the physical nature of a spirit or ghost (invisible), there are a few places in scripture where we see the Holy Spirit taking on different forms.  One example is during the baptism of Jesus in AD30 (30 years after the birth of Christ):

"And after being baptized, Jesus went up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon Him, and behold, a voice out of the heavens, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased." Matthew 3:16-17 (NAS)

"And John bore witness saying, "I have beheld the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him. And I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me, 'He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the one who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.'" John 1:32-33 (NAS)

Other Translations - John 1:32-33:

Then John gave this testimony: "I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him.  I would not have known him, except that the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, 'The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is he who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.'
