Apparently it
did matter to Paul that these people had not
received the Holy Spirit. Once Paul realized
that they had only been baptized into the baptism of
John, Paul taught them of the baptism of Christ.
They then agreed to be re-baptized into Jesus' baptism.
Some may argue that it doesn't matter what you're baptized for, or who you are baptized
into. But if this was true, then why would Paul have these men be baptized again
into Jesus Christ? |
