Correct. 

"And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible to you."  Matthew 17:20 (NAS)

Jesus makes a similar statement in Matthew 21:21:

"And seeing a lone fig tree by the road, He came to it, and found nothing on it except leaves only; and He said to it, "No longer shall there ever be any fruit from you." And at once the fig tree withered. ²⁰ And seeing this, the disciples marveled, saying, "How did the fig tree wither at once?" ²¹ And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith, and do not doubt, you shall not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it shall happen. ²² "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive." Matthew 21:19-22 (This story is also told in Mark 11:20-24)

The Desire is For the Twelve Apostles to Have A Greater Faith

"And the apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!" ⁶ And the Lord said, "If you had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and be planted in the sea'; and it would obey you."   Luke 17:5-6 (NAS)

"And you are those who have stood by Me (Jesus) in My trials; ²⁹ and just as My Father has granted Me a kingdom, I grant you 30 that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. ³¹ "Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat; ³² but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers." ³³ And he said to Him, "Lord, with You I am ready to go both to prison and to death!" ³⁴ And He said, "I say to you, Peter, the cock will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me." ³⁵ And He said to them, "When I sent you out without purse and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?" And they said, "No, nothing."  Luke 22:28-35 (NAS)

What Were The Mountains That Jesus Wanted The Twelve to Move?

As you read further, Jesus explains why he wants them to have faith...

And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible to you. ... ²² And while they were gathering together in Galilee, Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men; ²³ and they will kill Him, and He will be raised on the third day. "And they were deeply grieved."  Matthew 17:14-23 (NAS)

Jesus would soon be leaving the apostles.  And He had many things for them to do.
