from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the
ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our

							Added to the Kingdom:
							When Jesus established His church in Acts 2, those that obeyed the gospel
							from that time forward were added to His church by
							the Lord:

							 "Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day
  about three thousand souls were added to them...praising God and having favor
  with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who
  were being saved."  Acts 2:41, 47 (NKJ)
Jesus is the head of His church...He is the Chief Shepherd...the High Priest

  who fills all in all."  Ephesians 1:22-23 (NAS)
  "He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the
  beginning, the first-born from the dead; so that He Himself might come to have
  first place in everything."   Colossians 1:18  (NAS)
	"Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd
  of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our
  Lord..." Hebrews 13:20  (NAS)

Jesus has made His followers a royal priesthood, each being a priest unto
God:
    "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy
  nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the
  excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous
  light; for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God;
  you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy."  1
  Peter 2:9-10  (NAS)
	"...and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father;
  to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen."  Revelation
