...and
from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the
ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our
sins by His blood-- 6and He
has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father--to Him be the
glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Revelation 1:5-6 (NAS)

When Jesus established His church in Acts 2, those that obeyed the gospel

about three thousand souls were added to them...praising God and having favor
with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who
were being saved." Acts 2:41, 47 (NKJ)
Jesus is the head of His church...He is the Chief Shepherd...the High Priest
forever:

head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fulness of Him
who fills all in all." Ephesians 1:22-23 (NAS)

God:
"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy
nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the
excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous
light; for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God;
you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy." 1

of Jesus that He will come again:
Behold,
He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will
see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the
tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it
is to be. Amen. 8"I am the Alpha and
