According to Revelation 19:11-16, John saw the heaven opened and one that sat on a white horse.  This one that is sitting on the white horse was described as follows:

  1. He was called "Faithful and True."

  2. In his righteousness he judges and makes war.

  3. His eyes are a flame of fire.

  4. On his head are many diadems (crowns).

  5. He has a name written which no one knows but himself.

  6. He is arrayed or clothed in a garment sprinkled with blood.

  7. Out of his mouth proceeded a sharp sword.

  8. On his garment and thigh a name written "King of Kings and Lord of Lords."
