Correct.

New American Standard Version of the BibleHe who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations; 27and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are broken to pieces, as I also have received authority from My Father; 28and I will give him the morning star. 29`He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.'  Revelation 2:25-29 (NAS)

What about those who call Jesus their Lord, but do not do His will?

New American Standard Version of the Bible"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.  Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?'  And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.'  Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock."  Matthew 7:21-24  (NAS)

The Morning Star

In Revelation 2:25-28, Jesus promises that those (who overcome and who keep His deeds until the end) would receive authority over the nations...and also "the morning star." This phrase is also used in 2 Peter 2:19-21:

New American Standard Version of the BibleAnd we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts. 20But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation, 21for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. 2 Peter 1:19-21 (NAS)

In a spiritual sense, the morning star is the light to a dark world.  In 2 Peter 1, it is referring to the word of God (the prophetic word) which is bringing light to the world.  In Revelation 22:16 Jesus Himself is described as "the bright and morning star."
