Let's continue to look closer at Revelation 20:13-15:

New American Standard Version of the BibleAnd the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. 14And death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:13-15 (NAS)

In Revelation 20:13 all those that were dead were released from the place of the dead so that they could all stand before the throne and be judged according to their deeds.

Question:

According to Revelation 20:14, what happened to death and Hades (the place of the dead) once the dead were released from there?
