Read Chapter 22Chapter 22:  The Conclusion of the Revelation:

New American Standard Version of the BibleI testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God shall add to him the plagues which are written in this book; 19and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book. 20He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming quickly." Question:

According to Revelation 22:18-19, God will punish the people who hear the words of this prophecy and take away from the words.  God will punish them by taking away their part from the tree of life and from the holy city which are written in this book (an extremely severe punishment).

For anyone who hears the words of the prophesy and adds to the words, how will God punish them?

  1. They must pay a fine.

  2. There is no punishment.

  3. With the plagues which are written in this book.
