5:2-5:
And I saw a powerful angel. The angel called in a loud voice, "Who is worthy
to break the seals and open the scroll?"
3But there was no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth who could open
the scroll or look inside it.
4I cried and cried because there was no one who was worthy to open the scroll
or look inside.
5But one of the elders said to me, "Don't cry! The Lion (Christ) from Judah's
family group has won the victory. He is David's descendant. He is able to open
the scroll and its seven seals." (ERV)
And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a great voice, Who is worthy to open
the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
3And no one in the heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to
open the book, or to look thereon.
4And I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look
thereon:
5and one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not; behold, the Lion that is of the
tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath overcome to open the book and the seven
seals thereof. (ASV)
