Correct.
"Do
not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which
all who are in the tombs shall hear His voice, and
shall come forth; those who did the good deeds to a
resurrection of life, those who committed the evil
deeds to a
resurrection of judgment." John 5:28-29 (NAS)
What will happen on the judgment day?
"Or
do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness
and forbearance and patience, not knowing that the
kindness of God leads you to repentance? But because
of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are
storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath
and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,
who will
render to every man according to his deeds:
to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for
glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; but
to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey
the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and
indignation." Romans 2:4-8 (NAS)
"But you, why do you judge your
brother? Or you again, why do you regard your
brother with contempt? For we shall all stand before
the judgment seat of God. For it is written, "As I
live, says the Lord,
every knee
shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall give praise
to God." So then each one of us shall give account
of himself to God." Romans 14:10-12(NAS)
"Therefore also we have as our
ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing
to Him. For
we must all appear before the judgment seat of
Christ, that each one may be recompensed for his
deeds in the body, according to what he has
done, whether good or bad." 2 Corinthians 5:9-10
(NAS)
"This is a plain indication of
God's righteous judgment so that you may be
considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which
indeed you are suffering. For after all it is only
just for God
to repay with affliction those who afflict you, and
to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as
well when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from
heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire,
dealing out retribution to those who do not know God
and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord
Jesus. And these will pay the penalty of
eternal destruction, away from the presence of the
Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes
to be glorified in His saints on that day, and to be
marveled at among all who have believed-- for our
testimony to you was believed." II Thessalonians
1:5-10 (NAS)
"The
sins of some
men are quite evident, going before them to judgment;
for others, their sins follow after." 1 Timothy 5:24
(NAS)
"And inasmuch as it is
appointed for men to die once and after this comes
judgment," Hebrews 9:27 (NAS)
"For
judgment
will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy;
mercy triumphs over judgment." James 2:13 (NAS)
"For it is time for judgment to
begin with the household of God; and if it begins
with us first,
what will be
the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of
God? And if it is with difficulty that the
righteous is saved, what will become of the godless
man and the sinner? Therefore, let those also who
suffer according to the will of God entrust their
souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right."
1 Peter 4:17-19 (NAS)
"...But the present heavens and
earth by His word are being reserved for fire,
kept for the
day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men."
2 Peter 3:7 (NAS)
"By this,
love is
perfected with us, that we may have confidence in
the day of judgment; because as He is, so
also are we in this world." I John 4:17 (NAS)
Are you prepared for this day of judgment?
Have you obeyed the gospel (see Lesson 1)?
As you have seen from this study so far, when Jesus
comes again:
-
His followers will go to
meet Him in the air.
-
Jesus will then take them
to the place He's prepared in heaven for them.

Then the judgment of all
men will occur.
