Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of
you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness
of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the
Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your
children and for all who are far off-- for all whom
the Lord our God will call." (NIV)
 Then Peter said to them,
"Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the
name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and
you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. "For
the promise is to you and to your children, and to
all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God
will call." (NKJ)
 And Peter (said) unto them,
Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the
name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your
sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy
Spirit. For to you is the promise, and to your
children, and to all that are afar off, (even) as
many as the Lord our God shall call unto him. (ASV)
 Then Peter said unto them,
