Jesus' Authority:

As we've seen earlier, Jesus gave Peter the authority to teach people about the gospel of Jesus and also how to enter the Lord's kingdom or church.  From that point forward, the other disciples would spread this same message, as the Lord had commanded:

Matthew 28:18-20 says: And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (NAS)

Question:

According to Matthew 28:18-20, how much authority has been given to Jesus in heaven and on earth following His resurrection from the dead?

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (KJV)
