Other Translations - 1 Corinthians 15:24-28:
Then
the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to
God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion,
authority and power. 25 For he must reign
until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy to be destroyed is
death. 27 For he "has put everything
under his feet." Now when it says that "everything"
has been put under him, it is clear that this does
not include God himself, who put everything under
Christ. 28 When he has done this, then
the Son himself will be made subject to him who put
everything under him, so that God may be all in all. (NIV)
Then
comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God
the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all
authority and power. 25 For He must reign
till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26
The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
27 For "He has put all things under His feet."
But when He says "all things are put under Him," it
is evident that He who put all things under Him is
excepted. 28 Now when all things are made
subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be
subject to Him who put all things under Him, that
God may be all in all. (NKJ)
Then
cometh the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom
to God, even the Father; when he shall have
abolished all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all his
enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy
that shall be abolished is death. 27 For,
He put all things in subjection under his feet. But
when he saith, All things are put in subjection, it
is evident that he is excepted who did subject all
things unto him. 28 And when all things
have been subjected unto him, then shall the Son
also himself be subjected to him that did subject
all things unto him, that God may be all in all. (ASV)
Then
cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the
kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have
put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all
enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy
that shall be destroyed is death. 27 For
he hath put all things under his feet. But when he
saith all things are put under him, it is manifest
that he is excepted, which did put all things under
him. 28 And when all things shall be
subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be
subject unto him that put all things under him, that
God may be all in all. (KJV) |
