Correct.
And
in the same way
the Spirit
also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to
pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes
for us with groanings too deep for words; and
He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of
the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints
according to the will of God. Romans 8:26-27 (NAS)
Romans 8:34 says that "Christ Jesus...also
intercedes for us."
In the Old Testament times,
the leaders of the people or prophets oftentimes
would make intercession for the prayers or requests
of the people. Here is a chart from the

Under the New Covenant of
Christ, Jesus lives forever to make intercession for His followers...and the Holy Spirit
also intercedes in their prayers:
Who
will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the
one who justifies; who is the one who
condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather
who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who
also intercedes for us. Romans 8:33-34 (NAS)
Hence,
also, He (Jesus) is able to save forever those who
draw near to God through Him, since He always lives
to make intercession for them. 26 For it
was fitting that we should have such a high priest,
holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners
and exalted above the heavens; 27 who
does not need daily, like those high priests, to
offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins, and
then for the sins of the people, because this He did
once for all when He offered up Himself. 28
For the Law appoints men as high priests who are
weak, but the word of the oath, which came after the
Law, appoints a Son, made perfect forever. Hebrews
7:25-28 (NAS)

Are You A True Christian?
According to Hebrews 7:25,
Jesus "is able to save forever those who draw
near to God
through Him." Jesus is the only way
to come to the Father:
Jesus
said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the
life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.
John 14:6 (NAS)
Have you been saved through
Jesus, being obedient to His gospel? Have you
received the gift of the Holy Spirit to help you in
your prayers to God? See Acts 2:37-38, Romans
6:1-17, or for more information, please complete
Lesson 1. For more information on the Holy
Spirit, please see Lesson 5.
