							Main Purpose and Focus
During this timeframe, the Holy Spirit helped
people proclaim God's word and also helped them become
better leaders.  This transition in people's
lives is miraculous in the sense that people could
not achieve these results on their own without the
help of God and His Spirit.  Many times the
impact that God had in people's lives caused them
to have a deep sense of awe or fear.  But as we
see in the scriptures above, the main purpose that
the Spirit was given was to help people read, learn
and apply God's word in their life.
