The Holy Spirit's Sword:
In Paul's letter to the church in Ephesus, he writes
to them and, in chapter 6, describes the full armor
of God that they should be wearing, which includes:
 "And take the helmet of
salvation, and the
 sword of the Spirit, which is the
word of God." Ephesians 6:17 (NAS)
Question:
According to Ephesians 6:17, Christians are to
take on salvation as a spiritual helmet in their
armor. In addition,
they are to take or carry the the sword of the
Spirit. What is the sword of the Spirit? |
