"Emuwn"
Definition: Trustworthiness
Following are the uses of this Hebrew word "Emuwn" in the NAS Old Testament:
Deuteronomy 32:20 --
"Then He said, 'I will hide My face from them, I will see
what their end shall be; for they are a perverse generation, sons in whom is no
faithfulness."
Proverbs 13:17 -- "A wicked messenger falls into adversity, but a
faithful envoy brings healing."
Proverbs 14:5 -- "A faithful witness will not lie, but a false witness
speaks lies."
Proverbs 20:6 -- "Many a man proclaims his own loyalty, but who can find a
trustworthy man?"
Isaiah 26:2 -- "Open the gates, that the righteous nation may enter, the one
that remains faithful."
