How important would it be for the Christians who were under such great
persecution at that time to know who would win this victory?
 Who will be with the Lamb
(Jesus) when He overcomes?

Who are these that are with Him that are "called?"
The word
"church" comes from the Greek word ekklesia (ek-klay-see'-ah)
defined by Strong's Dictionary of Greek words as "a calling out" or those that
are "called out." Verse 14 says that those who are with
Christ are "the called and chosen and faithful."
