Church:
Their Devotion to Fellowship, Breaking of Bread
and Prayer (Acts 2:42)
"And day by
day continuing with
one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from
house to house, they were taking their meals
together with gladness and sincerity of heart,
praising God, and having favor with all the people.
And the Lord was adding to their number day by day
those who were being saved." Acts 2:46-47 (NAS)
"And on the first day of the
week, when we were gathered together to break
bread, Paul began talking to them, intending to

until midnight." Acts 20:7 (NAS)

week let each one of you put aside and save, as he
may prosper, that no collections be made when I
come." 1 Corinthians 16:2 (NAS)
"For, in the first place,
when you come together as a church...20Therefore
when you meet together, it is not to eat the Lord's
Supper..." 1 Corinthians 11:19-20 (NAS)
