This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:3-4 (NAS)    

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him. John 3:16-17 (NAS)

Do you have a desire to come to the knowledge of the truth and for God to save you?

How does it make you feel knowing that God desires for you to be saved?  God desired this to the extent that He was willing to send His only Son to die on a cross in our place.  Peter says to the Christians who were dispersed in the area at that time:

"...and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed." 1 Peter 2:24 (NAS)
