Question:

According to Matthew 1:21 and Romans 6:23, what does the plan of salvation save me from?

  1. It saves me in this life from all diseases, so that I never get sick.
  2. It saves me in this life from the consequences of the sins that other people commit, so that I don't have to suffer from the bad things that other people do.
  3. It saves from the penalty of my own sin...the penalty of eternal death.
