Read Chapter 14Chapter 14:  The Lamb stands on Mount Zion:

In Chapter 13, we saw Satan (who had been cast down from heaven) going after the followers of Jesus.  A beast arises from the sea...and another beast arises from the earth to deceive (with miracles and special powers) and speak false things to those that are on earth.  These beasts try to overcome those who follow Jesus.  All who worship the beast, having turned away from God, are to receive the mark of the beast.  No one can buy or sell anything without the mark of the beast.

Chapter 14 begins with the Lamb standing on Mt. Zion:

New American Standard Version of the BibleAnd I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads. Revelation 14:1 (NAS)

This appears to be the same description of the group in Revelation 7:3-4.  As we saw earlier in the lesson, the significance of the seal of God on their foreheads is to protect them from harm:

New American Standard Version of the Bible "...Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the bond-servants of our God on their foreheads."  And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel..."  (NAS)

Question:

According to Revelation 14:1, what did this seal on their foreheads contain?

Only God's Name Only Jesus' Name Both Names

Other Translations - Revelation 14:1:
