Psalm
45:6-7 -- "Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of uprightness is
the scepter of Thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated wickedness;
therefore God, Thy God, has anointed Thee with the oil of joy above Thy
fellows." (NAS)
Psalms 77:13-14 -- "Thy way, O
God, is holy; what god is great like our God? Thou
art the God who workest wonders; Thou hast made
known Thy strength among the peoples." (NAS)
Psalms 99:1-5 -- "The LORD
reigns, let the peoples tremble; He is enthroned
above the cherubim, let the earth shake! The LORD is
great in Zion, and He is exalted above all the
peoples. Let them praise Thy great and awesome name;
Holy is He. And the strength of the King loves
justice; Thou hast established equity; Thou hast
executed justice and righteousness in Jacob. Exalt
the LORD our God, and worship at His footstool; Holy
is He." (NAS)
Psalm 111:7-10 -- "The works of
His hands are truth and justice; all His precepts
are sure. They are upheld forever and ever; they are
performed in truth and uprightness. He has sent
redemption to His people; He has ordained His
covenant forever; Holy and awesome is His name. The
fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; a good
understanding have all those who do His commandments;
His praise endures forever." (NAS)
Isaiah 6:3-4 -- "And one called
out to another and said, "Holy, Holy, Holy, is the
LORD of hosts, the whole earth is full of His
glory." And the foundations of the thresholds
trembled at the voice of him who called out, while
the temple was filling with smoke." (NAS)
Isaiah 12:1-6 -- "Then you will
say on that day, "I will give thanks to Thee, O
LORD; for although Thou wast angry with me, Thine
anger is turned away, and Thou dost comfort me.
"Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not
be afraid; for the LORD God IS my strength and song,
and He has become my salvation." Therefore you will
joyously draw water from the springs of salvation.
And in that day you will say, "Give thanks to the
LORD, call on His name. Make known His deeds among
the peoples; make them remember that His name is
exalted." Praise the LORD in song, for He has done
excellent things; let this be known throughout the
earth. Cry aloud and shout for joy, O inhabitant of
Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of
Israel." (NAS)
Isaiah 30:15 -- "For thus the
Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, has said, "In
repentance and rest you shall be saved, in quietness
and trust is your strength." But you were not
willing," (NAS)
Isaiah 43:15 -- "I am the LORD,
your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King."
(NAS)
Isaiah 57:15 -- "For thus says
the high and exalted One who lives forever, whose
name is Holy, "I dwell on a high and holy place, and
also with the contrite and lowly of spirit in order
to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the
heart of the contrite." (NAS)
Isaiah 59:1-2 -- "Behold, the
LORD'S hand is not so short that it cannot save;
neither is His ear so dull that it cannot hear. But
your iniquities have made a separation between you
and your God, and your sins have hidden His face
from you, so that He does not hear." (NAS)
John 3:33 -- "He who has
received His witness has set his seal to this, that
God is true." (NAS)
1 Corinthians 3:16-17 -- "Do
you not know that you are a temple of God, and that
the Spirit of God dwells in you? If any man destroys
the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the
temple of God is holy, and that is what you are."
(NAS)
2 Corinthians 5:21 -- "He made
Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we
might become the righteousness of God in Him." (NAS)
Hebrews 4:14-16 -- "Since then
we have a great high priest who has passed through
the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast
our confession. For we do not have a high priest who
cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who
has been tempted in all things as we are, yet
without sin. Let us therefore draw near with
confidence to the throne of grace, that we may
receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of
need." (NAS)
1 Peter 2:21-25 -- "For you
have been called for this purpose, since Christ also
suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to
follow in His steps, who committed no sin, nor was
any deceit found in His mouth; and while being
reviled, He did not revile in return; while
suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept
entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously;
and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the
cross, that we might die to sin and live to
righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.
For you were continually straying like sheep, but
now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian
of your souls." (NAS)
1 John 1:5 -- "And this is the
message we have heard from Him and announce to you,
that God is light, and in Him there is no darkness
at all." (NAS)
1 John 3:5 -- "And you know
that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in
Him there is no sin." (NAS)
